Dino (Future of Kpop)

Lee Chan (Korean: 이찬; born February 11, 1999), professionally known by his stage name Dino (Korean: 디노), is a South Korean singer, rapper, dancer and choreographer under Pledis Entertainment. He is a member of the boy group Seventeen and is part of the Performance Team. He holds the positions of main dancer, rapper, sub vocal and maknae.

Career

Early Life
Dino appeared on a number of reality shows as a child, primarily with his dad, showing off his skills as a young dancer. In 2011 he appeared on MBC Star Audition.2012-2014: Pre-debut
Dino joined Pledis Entertainment in early 2012. He was chosen to be a member of Seventeen, and was in the first live broadcast of 17TV in December of that same year. He was involved in numerous live performances, including No Flex Zone with S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon in November 2014.2015-2016: Debut and Rookie Era
Dino made his debut with Seventeen on May 26, 2015, when he was just 16 years old. He was involved in the creation of many Seventeen choreographies, including creating the choreography for the debut album b-side Jam Jam by himself. He has also been involved in lyric writing since debut, having a lyric writing credit on almost every single Seventeen album.2017: First Solo Releases
In February 2017, Dino performed his first solo song Zero (0) to celebrate his high school graduation. He later released the song on Soundcloud. Dino performed his second solo song The Real Thing at the Diamond Edge Seoul concert, and released it on Soundcloud in December.2018: Start of Danceology
In December 2018 Dino began his series self-choreographed dances, entitled Dino's Danceology, with Five in the Morning. He has since released ten more, including three collaborations. That same month it was also revealed that he had created the choreography to the Seventeen song Flower.
Dino also participated in the OST for the drama A-Teen and performed his third solo song Every Time at Ideal Cut.2019 & 2020
In 2019 Dino participated in the OST Sweetest Thing for the drama Chocolate.2021 & 2022: Move into Producing
In 2021 Dino received his first producing credit on a Seventeen song with Pang. He also performed two new solo songs at the group's Power of Love online concert, Last Order and Zero (Hero), a remix of his previous song Zero (0).In July 2021 Dino had his first solo magazine shoot with Esquire.In June 2022 Dino released his solo song High-Five.2023: Solo Activities
Early in 2023 Dino filmed a variety show with fellow member Jeonghan in France which began airing in September. He also had his first solo variety show appearance, Yongjinho Health Centre. He had his second solo variety show appearance on Eunchae's Star Diary in October. In May, he was on the cover of Star1 magazine's May issue alongside fellow member Seungkwan and in November he had a solo shoot for Arena Homme's December issue.He featured on New Kids on the Block's remix of Dirty Dancing with Joshua and DK. In November his first solo OST was released for the tvN drama Castaway Diva. His mixtape as part of the TTT project, named Wait, was also released in November.
